TIM BOWNESS zeigt neuen Solo-Clip mit no-man-Connection

Das nächste Album von Tim Bowness steht in den Startlöchern. Das Besondere dabei ist mit Sicherheit, dass das am 1. März über Inside Out/Sony veröffentlichte „Flowers At The Scene“ zwar als Soloalbum erscheint, aber als Produktionscredit „no-man“ angegeben ist. Heißt: das Album ist in Zusammenarbeit mit seinem no-man-Bandkollegen Steven Wilson entstanden und markiert deren erste Kollaboration seit mehr als zehn Jahren.

„It was an exciting project to put together and it was great working closely with long-term creative partners, Brian Hulse and Steven Wilson plus a talented cast of new collaborators. Steven was initially brought in to mix the album, but very quickly was helping develop production ideas alongside Brian and I. Listening to pieces such as Not Married Anymore, Borderline and The War On Me, we both felt that the project had more than a hint of the spirit of no-man and it became obvious that this was a no-man co-production rather than a Bowness/Wilson one.“, so Bowness über die wiedererweckte Dynamik der beiden.

Steven Wilson ist aber nicht der einzige prominente Gast auf „Flowers At The Scene“ – die Gästeliste liest sich fast schon ein wenig wie Angeberei. Unter Anderem haben Peter Hammill (Van Der Graaf Generator), Andy Partridge (XTC), Kevin Godley (10cc), Colin Edwin (Porcupine Tree), Jim Matheos (Fates Warning) und David Longdon (Big Big Train) ihr Talent auf dem Album verewigt.
