KANSAS veröffentlichen Live-Album
Nur ein knappes Jahr nach dem erstaunlich gelungenen und frischen letzten Album „The Prelude Implicit“ legen die US-Progger Kansas am 30. November nun mit einem Doppel-Livealbum nach. Der Titel „Leftoverture Live & Beyond“ verrät es bereits: neben einer Auswahl an Klassikern und Songs vom letzten Album gibt es das komplette „Leftoverture“-Album von 1976 live zu hören.
Damit das Ganze nicht in die Hose geht, hat die Band auch den originalen „Leftoverture“-Produzenten Jeff Glixman (der ansonsten auch noch Bands und Musiker wie Gary Moore, Magnum, The Georgia Satellites und Black Sabbath betreut hat) verpflichtet.
„When we saw how much our fans enjoyed the Leftoverture 40th Anniversary Tour shows, we knew we had to record a live album. When it came to finding someone to produce it, we thought the best possible person would be the guy that produced „Leftoverture“ forty years ago. So, we called Jeff Glixman!“
, erklärt Drummer Phil Ehart.
Und auch Glixman selbst ist voller Begeisterung:

„Leftoverture Live & Beyond“ wird als Doppel-CD, 4-LP-Boxset oder digital am 30.11. über Inside Out veröffentlicht.
