MEAN JEANS – Album Nummer fünf am Start
Das US-Pop-Punk-Trio Mean Jeans veröffentlich mit „Gigantic Sike“ (Fat Wreck Chords) am 30. August seine nunmehr fünfte Platte – vorausgesetzt, die Scheibe „Jingles Collection“, wahrhaftig eine Sammlung von Werbejingles, wird mitgezählt.
„A gigantic sike is an escape plan,” sagt Frontmann Billy Jeans. „It’s a joke on the fantasy of sneaking out the backdoor on a crummy identity you didn’t necessarily mean to create.”
