„Soulsville U.S.A.: A Celebration of Stax“ präsentiert mit insgesamt 60 Songs auf 3 CDs die größten Hits des Labels aus der Hochphase von den frühen 1960ern bis Mitte der 1970er Jahre. Neben den oben erwähnten Legenden begründeten The Staple Singers, Booker T & The MGs, William Bell und The Dramatics damals den „Memphis Sound“. Das 3CD-Set enthält einen Begleittext des Journalisten Jeff Slate und ist eine Art Update der erfolgreichen „Stax 50: A 50th Anniversary Celebration“-Box, von der seit der Veröffentlichung im Jahr 2007 knapp 100.000 Exemplare verkauft wurden.
