JOYCE MANOR – Vorbote des neuen Albums
Die Post-Punk-Band Joyce Manor kündigt ihr neues Album ‚Cody‘ für den 7. Oktober an. Mit ‚Fake I.D.‘ könnt hr hier bereits dessen erste Single hören.
Das Album wurde mit Produzent Rob Schnapf aufgenommen, der bisher u.a. mit Elliot Smith, Saves The Day und Rancid zusammenarbeitete. Sänger und Gitarrist Barry Johnson berichtet folgendes über die Zusammenarbeit mit Produzent Schnapf:
‚It was the first time we really used the studio to our advantage. I felt like I could get a better grasp on what we could do. We always recorded like a punk band—go in and lay ‚em down! Just get good takes! And this time we tried a lot more.‘
